Ok so I know I am a bad blogger, but I will try to get better. So let me catch you up with what has been happening in the baby world.
I went to the doctor last week and finally got some good news. Had another ultrasound and got some really cute pictures and he said it was a girl. My BP was also very good at 117/72, and the best news of all, he said I could go on vacation. I was soo excited I didn't even plan for this vacation because I was not sure I was going to make it. So I have happy to say this Friday I will be leaving for the nice warm state of Florida and will be soaking up some rays!
I have been feeling pretty well other than being tired. I try to schedule a nap in every day.
I have started looking more at baby things and I think I have found the bedding set to decorate the nursery around. It is jungle theme, primary colors, nice and bright. Mikey was very against the whole pink nursery so we stopped that, but I am happy. I went to babies R us with my mom and saw some really cute stuff. When Mikey and I get back from vacation we are going to register, I can't wait for that!
So in a nut shell that is everything. I plan to do some baby shopping when I am in Orlando. From the looks of it there is a nice outlet mall not too far from where we are going with several baby stores in it.

Baby Shopping
So I have officially bought my first baby things today, according to some people I am WAY behind. Had a great weekend. Went looking on Friday with Audrey, we didn't buy anything but found a bunch of cute things. But, today I picked up a glider rocker off craigslist in great shape and a great deal! Also went out with Kim and had a great time. We hit Gymboree and got a couple cute outfits and couple more cute outfits at Kohls. So, from what I keep hearing is i need to get a move on working on the bedroom, so I am going to try and fit some time in next weekend to do that.
I think my colors for the nursery are going to be pink, chocolate brown with some green in it as well. We will see what I come up with, I cannot find a bedding set that I am falling in love with so I think I am just going to mix and match something.
Have another Dr. appointment on Tuesday. My BP has been really good so i am hoping I am going to get the clear to go on vacation in less than 2 weeks! I cannot wait to be soaking up some rays of sun down in Florida. I also plan to do some baby shopping while I am down there.
Will update on Tuesday if anything exciting at the Dr. appointment, he is going to take a quick peek with the ultrasound just to make sure the baby is still a girl :).

Week 21
So, went to see good old Dr. B today. I will say that this appointment went much better than last one. My BP was 130/81, which is awesome for me at this point. He seemed to happy with it. He still told me that going on my vacation is a "coin flip." I was a little disappointed about that, but he sounded a lot more positive this week about me going than last.
I got a sweet little video from my ultrasound last week check it out!
(Ok so I tried to upload it 4 times and it is not working, so I will try again later, Sorry)
He did re-ultrasound me today. He says the baby is very stubborn, Mikey points out like his mom. I don't need anymore comments on that :). Still could not get a great picture of boy or girl parts. Dr. B said that he is almost 95% sure it is a girl so I am going to say it is a girl! It was so funny when he put the probe on my belly the baby made sure to tell him that she was not interested in a picture and elbowed right at it, it was the cutest thing. He said he will check again in 2 weeks.

So, let see what else is going in the baby world. I still have not done anything to get ready for the baby, I will get there. I know "It will be here before I know it." I have been looking for a cute bedding set, but still have not found anything I am in love with, will keep looking. I have been getting really bad heartburn, but if i take my Pepcid it is under control for the most part. In the past 3 days I can definitely feel her moving around a lot more, it is so weird.
Next appointment in 2 weeks, and hopefully I will get the go ahead that I can go on our vacation.

Week 20
Half way there! I am so happy that I am half way. The first 20 weeks had its ups and downs, but the past couple weeks I have been feeling pretty good and hope it continues. The biggest thing affecting me lately is how tired I have been, so lets hope for some energy. Everyone keeps asking if I have started working on the nursery. Well... the answer is NO! I still need to empty that whole room out, which right now is my craft room so that is no small challenge. I will get there, I still have 20 weeks people. Haha.. I know it will fly by.
I have survived week one of taking my BP medication three times a day, and happy to say i have only missed one or two doses. Called the doctor today to report my week of BP's. He said that everything looked good, keep on the same medication, and see him in one week. So, I survived another week as far as the BP goes.

BP update
OK so I have been being a good patient and taking my medication, which by the way many have been asking it is called Methyldopa, 3 times a day. Know I am only on day 3 of this, but my BP have been in the low 130/low 70. I am very happy with those numbers and hopefully he will be too next Tuesday when I call him with the update.
I have really been noticing the baby kicking more and more and that is very exciting to me. So since Mikey and I haven't been able to agree on a girls name he has decided that I am suppose to name our child. That, in mind, is a cop out and really annoys me! So lets just say we are still working on the whole name thing.
I am still working on this blog thing so hopefully soon it will look a little better soon.

Big News
OK so this may be the first many of you are hearing/reading this, but Mikey and I are expecting a little one. We are very excited about having a baby on the way, so let me catch everyone on up what has been going on. We kept it very quiet for many many weeks. We told my parents on Christmas day, which at that time I was about 6 weeks along. Mikey slipped and told a couple other people here and there, against my wishes, and then finally started telling people around 13 weeks. Today I had my 19 week appointment and an ultrasound.
So, I guess I will start from the beginning. I was nauseous before the pregnancy test even read positive. For almost 12 weeks I was nauseous 24 hours a day, but i am happy to say that has pretty much passed and now just have the occasional nauseous moment. No other real symptoms other then being really tired, so I can't complain. I have not missed a day of work and really hope I can work until I deliver.
I have been having monthly appointments since about week 8 and all has been going well. Well, that is until today, my 19 week appointment. I was so excited to go we were going to have an ultrasound and find out if we were having a boy or a girl. Started out normal; go back, get weighted, pee in a cup and take my blood pressure. Well today my BP was high, 142/92, to be exact. Not good when you are pregnant, well not good if you aren't either. So Dr. B gave me a prescription for some medicine, 3 times a day, I have a hard enough time remembering to take my prenatal vitamins once a day. He said check BP daily and see me in a week. I talked him into 2 weeks if I called him in a week with daily BP readings. Then see him again in 4 weeks for another ultrasound and check up. Not what I wanted to hear. So I then had to ask if I was still able to go on my vacation May 1, which he said earlier that there would be no problem, and he said he wasn't sure we will re-evaluate as it gets closer, again not what I wanted to hear. Finally he said we would keep a close eye and if continue to have problems then may have to stop working, that was really NOT what I wanted to hear. Then he says "Well the good news is that you get more ultrasounds when you have high BP." Yeah...NOT While ultrasounds are very exciting I could do without. Oh so probably what you are waiting for is a boy or a girl. Dr. B said most likely a GIRL, but will hopefully confirm in 4 weeks at next ultrasound.
So there you have it. I do have some pictures and he is suppose to be making me a DVD I think i am going to be getting that at my next appointment something about it has to be finalized I was kind of confused on that but was in no mood to ask more questions.
